We follow on from a good 0-3 victory at Dens Park v a Buddies' team that was recently humbled v Hamilton Accies. IMO this is another welcome fixture that we can win and win well but it does look like we may well be down on 2 strikers, McLaren and Kamberi. I think Lenny should play roughly the same team that beat Dundee, played very well and see how it goes re scoring the requisite goals to register a good victory. C'mon Hibs and lets "push on" with a serious league campaign.

Hibs up to 2nd after a 1-0 win away at st mirren, david gray scoring for us.
We aren't scoring as many goals as we should be and the legs were heavy 2nd half, understandably so. But thats 2 away wins on the bounce and 3 clean sheets in a row. Not too shabby.

When I coached schools' players who were starting their footie development I always emphasised to the forward players (and others who were capable of scoring goals) to focus on "hitting the target". If you don't do that, you don't score a goal. The same philosophy applies to Horgan! An awful "miss" and at least "hit the target"!!!

When you look at the amount of chances we create there should have been at least 6 or 8 added to our goals tally so far. At our level of football players must get the ball on target which forces the goalie into making a save. Basic stuff but one that may be decisive in future matches,

Yep! You'd think some of these guys would "get the message" from their past striking failures and improve that contribution - fundamental in the art of scoring goals!
