A quick opp for the Hoops to get "back on track" and target a decent win v a Saints team that collapsed at Ibronx v Rangers. Time to impose more misery on a team that was a lot worse than the Hoops during that fateful Saturday. IMO Forrest to return, Ntcham also a "must" to return from that one match ban, McGregor to start and play more of the traditional hi-press attacking style that will win games.

FT and Celtic win 0-1 v a Saint Johnstone team that showed a lot more conviction and resilience than previously at Ibronx in a 5-1 thrashing! Sparky delivers at the critical moment in another match where Celtic given long periods of possession and Saints being difficult to "break down". However, bad news in the fact Boyata red-carded and Ajer hobbled off injured again! I don't think he was fit enough to return to 1st team duties but "took the risk" anyway. Anyway, job done by the Hoops and still "in the frame" for a third consecutive "treble" although definitely not playing as well as in previous historic seasons.

Reminded me a bit of our game on tuesday night, celtic totally dominating but struggling to score. They are really missing dembele,
Afterwards rodgers revealed he had turned down a mega bucks deal in china in the close season.
