Margreitter's hamstring - Parma with a Mozarella topping - is going to force us into trying out the Raglan Evatt designer jumper combo for two or three games. In the long term that has to be a good thing. We have to know what we need to recruit in January ..... cover for Raglan, or experience to go ahead of him in the queue.
Now, on the goalscorer front, Crewe apparently are going in for 18 year old Che Adams at Ilkeston. He's only down the road from us. I wonder if we could give them a bit of competition. I know they have a reputation for developing young talent, but non-league/youth development is our only real option if we are aiming radically to improve our playing strength. Mr Cook says he's looking to the future. But, even non-leaguers who develop and become too widely recognised - like Lee Gregory - price themselves out of our range ....... so we have to get in early.
