 Deserves a chance on the biggest of big stages though.  VLP will be gutted, he's been practising dyke diving all season.

If he doesn't sign, there'll be similar players available and his time will pass into folklore, just a name etched on a tree in an ever-growing forest of quality defenders, until it is no more visible in the bark than hope, or despair.
