Hibs v Partick Thistle, Sat 31 March, KO 3.00pm

This will be another match with Lenny sitting in the West Stand but it is a home fixture where Hibs must be targeting a win and 3 pts v a Jags' side that certainly looks like it is in relegation trouble and the reason for their predicament is the fact that their performances have been dire. Hibs need to focus on chasing the 2nd and 3rd spots in the Scot Premiership and avoid any complacency that could threaten an expected positive result in front of a big Hibs crowd. C'mon Hibs!

Back to the proper fitba! And hopefully a good holiday crowd.

Having seen thistle a couple of times recently I can really see our front players causing them a lot of bother on the day.

I hope you are right Jim. I wanna see Hibs picking up some positive momentum now and then push on to season end. No slacking!

A good game to cement our position in 4th place and one which can launch us into going for 3rd, or better. On our game we should win quite comfortably and boost our confidence for the remaining fixtures.

FT 2-0 and Hibs secure the 3 pts after a flat, uninspiring 1st half. Rangers dropped 2 pts today although, by all accounts, they've been bailed out of another defeat by a ref named Nick Walsh who awarded them a ridiculous pk when 2-0 down v M'well! Did Walsh pick up a 'dodgy phone call' at HT lol! Anyway, that is 2 pts 'clawed back' on Rangers league position!

First hour was pretty poor, and I thought we might have got away with one at the disallowed goal, but the team really dug in to get the 3 points.

Sevco were absolutely rotten again,Motherwell should have had the points won by the interval.

All eyes on midweek now and a win for hibs puts us within a point of the Huns going into the split. 3rd spot or even 2nd still up for grabs.

Our guys need to stay focused and concentrate on the game coming up midweek. 3points could just about guarantee 4th and take us ever closer to the European spot.
A friend of mine, a Hibby, insists that the so called draw for the remaining 5 matches after the split will see Celtic and Rangers having 3 home matches to ensure they finish 1st and 2nd. The SPL/SPFL wouldn`t manipulate the fixtures - would they? time will tell.

It's OK Wattie - Rangers home form is rotten!! Maybe the SFA will give these games to Nick Walsh eh - pick up a few dodgy pks to help them as much as they can lol!
