We're stuck on the chuffing M42. Traffic report on the radio said it had been cleared so we stuck with our original route. She were fibbing.

Just took me 2 hours to get home from Coventry, normally 45 mins from Coventry on Friday. Every frigging numpty that can't drive is out today. 90 minutes to get to work this morning due to clowns crashing into each other on a near empty M6. This afternoon, M6 constipated both ways due to accidents, breakdowns and a new set of roadworks (like we need more of them!!! ). M42 blocked Southbound - acccident, rubberneckers gawping North causing more jams. M6 Toll blocked & closed nortbound towards Cannock, another accident. Air Ambulances all over the place. Fuckwits and cockwombles who shouldn't be allowed out on our roads causing chaos everywere. I've taken every back road across Birmingham, Aldridge and who knows where else (my useless bloody Vauxhall satnav didn't like it, I ignored it mst of the way). Trouble was, so did every bugger else. Pah! I'm having a bottle of my favourite bottled bitter to make up for it.

Well we got parked up directly opposite the stadium. Wandered over to the fanzone. Job's a good un.
But then afterwards we were all marched off in the wrong direction. Poor Amelia had to walk about a mile out of the way on her poorly foot. Not only us. Just as we were exiting the car park a Town fan hobbled around the corner on crutches and a pot leg.
