Add the loan fee onto that and we've practically spent the same as Everton :-0

Weve spent the same as Brighton but I cant think of one player they've bought that would get into our starting 11.

Another way of looking at it is we were the 11th/12th biggest spenders in the league or there were only 6 teams who spent less than we did and the only reason we came 5th on net spend is that the players which left, we did not get anything for them. I thought I saw a post saying we got £1m for CM but its not on the list. (EDIT: he went on a free with add-ons if he does well - so on a free Smile

)

Maybe we should have a list for value for money, that we would do well on, I think, not sure though after we payed between £9 - £12 million (depending on which source you use) for a player not rated higher £500,000 on any website such as Transfermarktz.

It was a cracking window for us though, I am looking forward to the season and I have not said that for a year or two.
