A few Albion fans should take note of his comments about negativity not helping .... I know it is hard when the football is rough but a little magic either way can change a games outcome.

On the Baggies.com Website fans give marks out of 10 for each player after each game. Usually 20 to 30 chip in (or 3 or 4 for a midweek away game)

After Saturday, these are the average scores this Season:-

Myhill 5.7
Chester 5.0
Dawson 5.7
Lescott 4.9
Brunt     5.8
Gardner 5.1
Morrison 6.2
Fletcher 5.8
Mclean 5.3
Lambert 4.7
Berahino 5.4
Yacob 5.9
Anichebe 4.8
McManam 5.1
McAuley 6.1

Olsson 6.1
Rondon 5.8
Gnabry 5.6
Gamboa 5.7
Evans 6.5

Sessegnon 6.3

Foster 6.7

Pocognoli 6.0
Sandro 5.5
Pritchard 4.6
Leko        5.2

Sad reading! I remember these stats from a few seasons back, and the bulk of the team were getting averages of about 7, when Mulumbu was out in front with 7.9. This season most players are averaging less than 6.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

On a slightly different Award, nice to see Kemar Roofe voted as Sky Bet - Division Two - Player of the Season.  I would not be at all surprised seeing him lining up for an opposition team against us in the next year or two.

But that is one of the problems with football today, every investment has to immediate return.  Gone have the days when a club might use the loan system to loan a player out for maybe 2 or 3 years to learn their trade before bringing them back. Now its 6 months and if they are not good enough by then its "on yer bike"

Oh when I was a lad   Wink

Look at Jerome Sinclair, prime example, stolen from us by Liverpool aged 14, no real opportunities to perform there, was there youngest first team player 16 years 6 days, now could be sold released free with compensation in the summer, apparently we are interested in re-signing him. What ever happened to youth teams then reserves then first team then testimonial then retire ..... one team career footballers ...... oh yeah sky tv happened ... money became king ... Instant results became be all and end all ... can't afford to lose get relegated, three or four bad games sack the manager .... play a couple of good games become to big for your club move up to a bigger teams bench for more wonga ..... does that about sum up modern English football.

I need to calm down ..... my blood pressure.
