WHO AM I?

To try to get away from some of the negative vibes on here lately, a quiz for the older members of society.

1) I was borne in Birmingham in 1952

2) I signed for the Albion from Sutton Coldfield Town in 1969 and signed professional terms later that year.

3) I'm not the only member of my family who played professional football.

4) I made over 100 appearances for the Baggies.

WOW,
Was it the goalkeeper Peter Latchford who then went on to Celtic?

Well done Spen you got it in one. Thumb up

We tend to think of Bob Latchford because of his goal scoring record and forget that there were two other brothers who also made the big time.

OK let's try one more:-

1) I was born in Co. Durham in 1939

2) I played for the Albion for over 12 years.

3) I was a utility player for the Albion.

4) I once scored a hat trick against Stoke although I was playing as a full back.

5) I have an equally famous nephew.

How about this?

1. I averaged a goal every three games for Albion
2. I was also an England international, scoring a hat-trick on my debut
3. I became a folk hero in Europe, where a radio station was named after me, and this picture is used to honour me:
