I've pinched this idea from the Spireites board. Thanks, spireitematt, you post really good threads.
With 11 matches to go, promotion is not totally out of the question providing that we and those above us and around us have a dramatic change of fortune!
Realistically we can hope for a safe, midtable finish but will it be top half or bottom half?

I'll say 13 to 20
Having looked at the fixtures I'd expect us to pick up at least 11 points between now and the end of the season, how that compares with the others around us I don't know.
3 points this weekend would be massive for us as it would take a fair bit of pressure off us, however should we lose and Millwall win then the gap would be down to 8 and we old be looking nervously over our shoulder with some tough games ahead.

Have to admit that my main aim for this season now is finishing above the Dirties. I think 13-21.

I voted 13-21 as well, and if this was about us then that where my vote for us would be as well!!!! Don't think either of us will be sucked into a relegation battle, Blackpool are down, Millwall are seriously crap, only Wigan have a chance to get out in my book, and they have hardly impresses under Malky!! For me there are too many teams in between us and the bottom 4 and already too many points for them to make up to see us dragged into it.

Mid-table obscurity is what we've been aiming for all season, even though some don't like it. We seem to park ourselves in 14th every other week. I think we'll finish somewhere 12th-16th but 13-21 is the nearest option. Finishing above Leeds is a bonus as long as they ain't second bottom and us third bottom. Can't see Leek Lark moving Blackpool off the bottom but if Wigan can pull off a few more results like they did against Norwich it will get interesting down amongst the dead men.

Gone 13-21 but think more like 18-21, not too close to relegation because of other teams being awful, but a terrible end to season as per seeing us get dragged close.

11 points picked up since this thread came to light and a finish of somewhere between 13th and 19th guaranteed
