Will be sad to see Jason Koumas
playing in the conference next season
such a talent when he was with us
hopefully he will help Tranmere back into the league

Agree,
On his day a fantastic player but just feel that he had all the talent in the world but lacked work rate and commitment. Just goes to show that natural ability is nothing without heart and hard work.

Koumas is pretty much the ultimate example of a naturally gifted player who utterly lacked passion for the game; he pulled on a pair of boots every Saturday in return for a paycheque, and you could flip a coin as to whether he'd be playing in first gear or fifth. I honestly believe that with some commitment and effort he could have spent his career at a top club, but that was too much bother for him.

And of course, that's his choice.
