Pick that one out!

Then we follow up with the worst defending of the season.

As an ex goalkeeper, Grant has to take the blame for that. He has three good goalies, but one of them is a calamity with his feet.

That's the one he keeps picking as first choice.

And.

We can not

And never will.

Be good enough to play out from the back like a top end Premier League team.

Pub Football Defending and goalkeeping for the Luton winner.

We started badly and dint get much better, we couldn’t cope with Luton in the First half.

How much did we miss Balker, calm on the ball when he has it and he’s capable of the bring the ball out. Last night it was hit and hope

According to the Beeb you play a 4-2-2-2 formation no idea how that works
Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

Goalkeeping was shite for their second. Foot through it and get rid, instead he fucked around again. I don't think he's a good keeper, I don't see anything he's more adept at, shot stopping is okay, although for the second his parry was weak. Nicholls still a better keeper overall. Feeney doesn't know how to head a ball either, he just cushions it away, might be technically sound but physically lacking.

Lee grant is costing us points with some of his decision making. You don't take your biggest striker who's in scoring form off to play two midgets and decide to go route one at them. Puts one of our quicker players on and then proceed to keep moving him where the ball isn't going. He's fine when we get ahead like against Plymouth or Mansfield, but when he has to effect the game, he fails

The Beeb has put out that bs formation several times on it's website for our team sheets themaclad. If we played basketball they'd put it out as 1-1-1-1-1. Whoever does it is either lazy or is labelling players as playing in positions they don't exactly play in on the day and letting "the algorithm" pick the formation. Like we've got 4 midfielders starting that have played central midfield at some point so they are all going to play in the middle? Bound to happen when you pare qualified staff to the bone and try to use piss poor AI to do your job for you.

Either way I think after another poor performance at the back by Goodman, Nicholls will start until the New Year at least unless he also makes a few howlers.

Really, we should all be talking about the wonder goal from last night and what a special player young Castledine is, or is going to be.

Instead, all the talk is aboiut the shambolic defending. I'll add to it.

It wasn't just Goodman at fault. How many others had time to get shut? The weak headers (for both goals). Feeney had time to chest it and wallop it away, instead it's feebly handed back to the Luton lad, who went on to score. Even better than Feeney heading it, would 've been a shout of "KEEPER'S" with Goodman coming and getting it. Danger gone.

But what do I know. Whining old toss pot! Whistle
