All at Huddersfield Town are profoundly saddened to learn of the passing of Jimmy Nicholson.

Jimmy represented the Club between 1964-1973 after signing from Manchester United, and was part of our 1969/70 Second Division winning side.

Our collective thoughts are with Jimmy’s family and loved ones at this time.

Once a Terrier, always a Terrier.

Sad to read about a great skipper that took us to the promised land as I went to grammar school - but why can't I find this on the Town website?

They put a tweet out on X. You would think they would mention it at least, on the website. Lee Morris also tweeted it three hours ago and I imagine he will be in the process of doing an obituary for him now. But yes, at least mention it.

The King is dead, would be how I would start an obituary.

Good to know that Musk has been informed. I guess he'll pass it on to The Orange one so that Truth Soshul can let the rest of the world know. Think that's how it works. Town will put it on their website when Kevin the Gerbil spots it and tells them to do it. Meanwhile, he's on his way to a baseball game.

Who is Lee Morris Snoots? Asking for a friend.

He's the one who writes all the interviews with old players for the HTAFC Heritage pages in the match programme. Also does all the obituaries for the website.

That's another website that seems to have gone tits up. Nothing posted since Steve Smith died.
