Fleetwood Town have signed left-back Denver Hume from League Two rivals Grimsby Town on a two-year deal after he rejected a new contract.
The 26-year-old made 48 appearances in all competitions for The Mariners last season and was named in the League Two team of the season.
He ended the campaign as the joint top assist provider in League Two in 2024-25 with 12 assists.
Born in Ashington, Hume began his career at Sunderland where he made 84 appearances in total before moving to Portsmouth in January 2022.

Fleetwood Town defender Finley Potter has signed a new two-year contract with the League Two club.
Potter, 21, was contracted until the end of the 2025-26 season but that has been extended until 2027, with Fleetwood having the option of a third year.
He joined from Sheffield United in February 2024 and had a breakthrough season last year, making 32 appearances for the Cod Army.
Fleetwood, who finished 14th last season, open their new campaign away to promoted Barnet on 2 August.

Fleetwood Town have signed experienced striker James Norwood on a one-year deal after a successful trial.
The 34-year-old was a free agent, having left Oldham at the end of the season after scoring 26 goals in 65 National League appearances for the Latics.
Norwood has previously had spells with Forest Green, Tranmere, Ipswich Town and Barnsley.
He could make his competitive debut for the Cod Army in the League Two season-opener at Barnet on Saturday, 2 August.

Fleetwood Town defender Mackenzie Hunt has joined United Arab Emirates Pro League club FC Baniyas for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old's family moved to Dubai when he was a child and he has won seven international caps for the UAE, having made his debut against Qatar in 2024.
Hunt spent time at Everton's academy, playing eight games in the EFL Trophy, before signing for Fleetwood last summer.
He made 40 appearances last season and scored his only goal for the club in a 4-1 win at Accrington Stanley in April.
