Oh dear. As we approach the end of the season, any decent form has evaporated with the Premiership returning its lowest points of the season - just 16. When you consider that one match, Wigan - QPR, provided 17 of those, it shows what a mess we made of it! A complete wipe-out on the bonus ball (too many reliant on the Baggies) and only one player getting the gamball result correct. No surprise that that person was Stairs who again declined to play it! Three minusmen including 2 of the season's pace setters.
Despite declining the extra gamball points, Stairs sits at the top with a mighty 7 points, 1 ahead of Sanjay both of them achieving the week's high of 4 correct result predictions. Zinman is a further point back thanks to 2 of his 3 correct predictions being a correct score and then a further point back to Blue Baggie. Snooty completes the list of players actually adding to their scores this week with 2 points.
The bottom 3 had a miserable week with just 4 correct predictions amongst them. Minizin got half of those and was one of just 3 extra scoreball winners but that wasn't enough to get him to zero. Derby and SCO only managed 1 correct prediction each with Derby's scoreball point leaving SCO at the foot of the table - it's beginning to be a habit for him!

As expected from a week with such low scores, there was only 1 positional change this week. At the top of the table Minizin's lead is cut to just 6 points as the pressure is beginning to tell - probably not helped by me reminding him of the classic Beefy blow up a few years ago when he lost an 18 point lead on the last week of the season. That's what happens with Zinman breathing down your neck (particularly after a good curry). Derby's recent poor form has seen him drop off the pace with it looking incresingly like a family battle for the title. Stairs and Blue look safe in mid table with Sanjay increasing his chances of at least getting to the play offs. SCO so enjoyed finally cracking the 200 barrier last week that he's decided to try to do it again next week as he drops back to the foot of the table.

Mediocre week, but thats what you get when every one who played the Gamball got it wrong and only two players scored positive points on the Bonus!! At least there were 10 Correct Scores between the players, nearly twice the season's average.
Twerton leads the way with a rare top spot finish on 13 points. He scored on 6 of the games this week and would have scored in the mid 20s had it not been for his ritual of missing out on the balls!! Joint 2nd are BaggieOne and Lady Jane with 10 points, they got there in identical ways, missing on the Gamball but the only 2 to score on the Bonus where they each got a spot on prediction.
Amelia is 4th with 9 points, like Twerton her balls spoiled what could have been a very good week. AAA and BBB are 5th with 6 points, AAA failed to get any CSs whereas BBB got 2, but BBB as per usual missed on both balls. Dingle had a poor week, eh seems to up one week and down the next!! Themaclad had a mare, finishing on -4, missing on all his balls and only scoring on one game.
288 Dingle
271 BaggieOne
269 Lady Jane
260 AAA
258 BBB
182 Themaclad
179 Twerton
154 Amelia
No changes in position but yet again LJ and BaggieOne get closer to Dingle, is he just messing with them and giving them false hope with his rollercoaster weeks?? AAA and BBB are still hot on the heels of the top 3 and one really good week from either of them could see them break into it. Big gap of over 70 points down to Themaclad, who is rapidly being caught by Twerton, leaving Ameilia still stranded on the bottom.
Cheers
