If a player takes a shot on goal and it goes in via a deflection, in my opinion, whether it's going in or going wide, it's that player's goal, not an own goal. The Pearson own goal last week was different. It wasn't a shot, it was a cross and he got his feet mixed up and deflected the cross into his own net.

In that case as i predicted Pearson to score last week, don't I get 2pts for OG.   Big Grin

Results for Matchday 8: Baggie Bob is flying! He now has a lead of 19 points. And that is down to him having the weekly top score again and jjamez having an off day. St Charles has closed the gap between himself and jjamez to 4 points.
Theo is back up to 4th in that close run mid table, with Snooty, Shep, Wakey and neon not far behind.
Ritchiebaby had contrasting luck. He had a good score, the third best of the week, but then themaclad goes and gets the second best score which knocks ritchie down to the bottom. He's joined there by Amelia, who had this week's lowest score.
