Shock,Horror A Thread About Football
#1
anyone remember threads about football?
and as we all know games will not be the same.
but football may provide a distraction from what has been going on lately

but as per usual sky t.v have stuck their nose in before the restart:
i understand they, and teams in the EFL have and agreed contracts
to show certain chosen games.
i know there is a restriction on showing live games at 3.00pm
but with fans not attending i don`t see why this rule cannot be relaxed
surely with Promotion/Play-Offs/Relegation still to be decided, surely the remaining games should all kick-off at the same time,
not a day before or a day after.
players are going to find it strange playing in empty stadiums, but the added pressure knowing
that your promotion/play-off/relegation rivals have already played
surely that adds even more pressure

thank you for reading

The restriction on showing games on a Saturday at 3 pm has been lifted until the end of season. But that will make no difference to sky . But sky will not be showing any games on the red button. If you wish to watch all The Albion games you can by purchasing each match not on sky on I follow at £10 a match. You can get them all for free if your a season ticket holder and take up i of the options shown on the web site.

As for the pressure I really think some teams will have already be on holiday and will not be up for the fight, I really think we will be fine upon, seeing our squad I think we will cope better than anyone with injuries that will occur during these hectic 9 games in 30 days.

I definitely agree that the final games of the normal season ( not including playoffs) should all k.o. at the same times on the same day. I believe the final games are going to be midweek rather than on a Sat or Sun. It would be really unfair to schedule them on 2 different days. Gives some teams unfair advantages.
