Well the games are coming in "thick n fast" and this one on a shit artificial pitch will be a challenging one. My concern actually centres on who we should "risk" playing on this surface because I don't wanna see more injuries arising to the likes of "fragile" players such as Magregor and Boyly who have just returned to competitive action after long absences. Jack Ross has previous experience of playing teams on artificial surfaces when he managed Alloa Athletic and hopefully that experience will "stand him in good stead" when assessing what kinda Hibs line up will "do the job" at venues such as this one. They are only 3 pts behind Hibs. So this is a game of great importance to hopefully "push on" farther into the top half of the Scot Premiership. We really need to use that positive Embro derby win to pick up momentum and try to win this fixture in any way that we can!! However, Livy will not make it easy - gotta earn the result! C'mon Hibs!

This will be a very tough test id imagine as it was at Easter Road in the previous encounter with Marvin Bartley provising Livi with the toughness that maybe Hibs have needed at times, also Lyndon Dykes up front for Livi must be a player on Hibs raider, hes a real threat and danger man, hopefully Hibs are up for this one and can lay down a marker early.

As i imagined it was a tough test but one we did not turn up to, a few changes in January is a must, 3500 Hibs fans travelled, i dont find the result acceptable.

First of all THIS RESULT WAS INDEED TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE but I'm sure many Hibs fans, incl myself, expected this poor result, the main factor being that Livy have a huge advantage on their artificial pitch and Hibs really have to "show up" to earn a result - they didn't!! Also I'm sure the players were forewarned to be careful when playing on this pitch - not exactly comforting advice eh!! What intrigued me as well was the fact that Jack Ross fielded an unchanged Hibs team but the games are arriving "thick n fast". So resting certain players must be considered in order to keep them reasonably healthy and fit - he didn't do that and Hibs deserved what they got with Livy's CB, Guthrie (not a notable goal scorer!) grabbing a "brace". I think today's result finally confirmed "enough is enough" and the manager must try to sign up better players for key positions as well as offloading "duds" - we have a few them btw!! IMO we should be well above Livy by a country mile and we are not because Hibs are not a fully accountable team/player squad - that must be remedied pronto in order to retrieve a fairly unimpressive footie season for the "cabbage n ribs" or it is just gonna "peter out" as a "nothing season". I can't even see Hibs having a significant Scottish Cup run at the mo either!!

After a good win we showed no desire to beat livi. Really,really flat performance. Horgan in particular was awful.

Ross has the right ideas but he doesn't have the right players yet. In that sense it's a bit like Hertz, just we don't require the kind of radical surgery they do.

Hecky has a lot to answer for.

I thought Horgan was generally awful v Hertz as well. The only difference was he "put in a shift" to cover any Hertz attacking moves on his flank. Other than that, his "touch" and control of the ball was awful TBF! Rightly "hooked" by Jack Ross in the second half and he was one of a few players who Ross should've seriously considered to miss out on this Livy fixture.
