Huge apologies for the down time. This was an act of god and nothing to do with us.

One or two posts made will have vanished. We just can’t get them back and so, again, forgive us if that screws up prediction leagues and match threads this weekend. I am a user and participant as well and so I feel your pain.

Mark has bust a gut all week fighting to get us back in play and so MASSIVE THANKS!!!

It’s ironic that it happens when we move to a new hosting service to ensure the future of the site. I’d laugh but I am totally dry from crying all week.

It highlights how vulnerable we are without funding and sponsorship and so please please - if you know anyone that would like their logo all over the site for a relatively small fee. Point them at me.

Pass on the word.

Follow @sportsbabbleuk on Twitter as a backup.

I can communicate to everyone that way should it ever (heaven forbid) happen again.

Just to reiterate what Stairs said, I was able to know what was going on through communication on Twitter, and I was able to keep Imre up to date as we are friends on Facebook. If those on Twitter want to follow the site as Stairs suggests we can then at least stay in touch with what is happening. This was a complete crash on the behalf of the company who runs the servers, nothing we could have predicted or done anything about but thankfully there has been a lot of effort over the last few days to get us back online!!!

Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?
