The Rich Get Richer

i know it`s nothing to do with West Brom(or is it)
as you may be aware Bury FC could well be kicked out of the league come Friday
Big deal you may say
but to lose a football league club when the greed league is getting richer aint fair
would it be too much to ask for the premier league rich sides to maybe donate some of their riches to keep this club in business
i`m sure they can afford it

doubt it will happen though

I'm a strong believer in the PL prize money dropping by £20 million per club
That would generate £400 million between the other 72 clubs = £5.5 million per club.
That won't have a large impact on the Championship, but clubs in D1 & D2 would have a chance to sustain the business.

Sounds great in principle, how many of these clubs would continue to spend over the odds to ensure their football league status then though?

This could cause more issues further down the line when it's not thousands it's millions needed to save a club.

I do have sympathy because costs of running clubs and some owners who are inept, FFP needs to be looked at to make sure the club's don't hemorrhage money.
