didnt know if i should post this or not in case it was taken as crass
football is a game at the end of the day and we all love it
we the supporters are part of a worldwide network don`t matter what colours or team we follow
players are the same all part of the footballing family.
Emiliano Sala may not of been part of our club but he was part of our footballing family
We are united in this tragic loss
and i hope i speak on behalf of all Baggies fans that contribute to this site our heartfelt condolences to the Sala family and all who knew him

RIP

Hear hear, well said matey.

I was listening to a debate regarding the apparent claim from Nantes of the first Cardiff payment of the transfer which they are at the moment unwilling to pay.
The theme seemed to be "who is losing this money? "
Now that IS crass, IMO. It was not a bag of money that was lost, it was a life. For either club to have to even discuss settlement of this in a financial way just shows how low football, and parts of society, have gone.
Nobody has lost £16m; a family has lost far, far more

When I first heard about the missing plane my first thought was, sadly, there's going to be one hell of an argument about money when it should have been about the families of Sala and the pilot. Unfortunately we live in a World controlled by accountants and bean counters. Both clubs need to take a long look in the mirror and stop this immediately. We're not talking about an asset, we're talking about two people with wives, mothers, fathers, children, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces you cold blooded twats.

Sympathy to the Ibbotson and Sala families.

It goes to show just how cruel life can be. A young man gets the biggest move of his career and loses his life before he gets to play for his new club and a pilot with a family loses his life (highly unlikely that he’ll be found alive) and his body may never be found.

Very sad.

I can guarantee the lawyers were working on this from the first minute the disappearance was announced. I am sure they kept quiet out of respect but unfortunately they will be the ones ending up making money out of this. I would imagine this sad situation is unprecedented where football is concerned and I am also sure that UEFA/FIFA have their lawyers looking into it as well. There are two families who are suffering the ultimate loss, and even after the legal battle we are likely to see is done there certainly won’t be any winners either!!
