Exactly BV! All the local news channels covered it. Sky Sports had a brief clip of it, but on our own club website - nothing! Obviously they don't care about this wonderful statue because it wasn't their idea or project.
I was lucky enough as a young lad to see these three play. I will never forget their contribution, not only to our club, but to football in general.

One question needs to be asked about the statue, apologies if you've covered this already, but why isn't it at the ground instead of outside Nando's?

Because the statue was commissioned and funded by a number of bodies including the local council and the PFA, but not by Albion.

On that note, I'll add that I'm giving the club the benefit of the doubt about not mentioning it on the website on that basis. It wasn't their project, they contributed nothing, so to run a piece about it might have looked as if they were claiming some credit.
