To throw a spanner in the works and aspirations of many, I’m not so sure, given the current playing position and future agenda of the club, that I really want promotion back to the Premiership as I feel we do not have a sound and stable enough base to survive and avoid immediate relegation which I believe would once more return us to the yo-yo years.

Sadly, our owner/s seems not to be the tree laden with unlimited funds and parachute payments will not be enough to enable us to compete on a level field. Not sure what the answer is. Sorry to be pessimistic but that’s how I see it.

Here's hoping Mr.Lai sells the Club to a prudent fan - say somebody like Jeremy Peace.

The only criticism of JP (for me) is his insistence that he would only sell to a Buyer like himself, who loves the Club. He turned down several offers because he couldn't be sure of their credentials.

How did you manage to get that so wrong, Jeremy?
........Maybe he just couldn't refuse the 175, which is now worth about a 3rd (?) of that.
