Worryingly Soton looked decent good mid table team, knocked it around, carried it well, passed and moved quickly, clinical finishing we looked lower Championship at best and got exactly what we deserved.
They should look like a decent mid-table side. Piss poor choice of managers since Poch went to Spurs has had then hanging around the bottom.
I was looking at who Maureen had shipped out at Man Ure. One that popped up was the young Wilson fella that everyone was clammering over a season or 2 back. Season long loan (they are easily ripped up) at Aberdeen, where he is putting himself 'in the shop window'. His words not mine. He's scored 2, which is 2 more than our impotent strike force, so he'd fit right in.
Apart from that, Everton have put a smile on my face this afternoon.
A guide to cask ale.

Definitely a no to mark hughes. I'd probably consider no longer going if he or alan pardew ever became our manager

There isn't one guy, or woman for that matter, on the English Manager-go-round that Deano would even consider right now. He will stick with Wagbo come what may. They didn't plan (in the short term) for us to be where we are and he's not gonna do a Sadfud, or a L666s and mortgage the club in a futile effort to stay up. All we want as fans is for some better play in the final third, especially against those around us, and that is where Wagbo still isn't delivering with his one up front tactic. He calls the tactics, he picks the side. We get the cheapest deal in the Prima Donna League (and a fair chunk of divisions below us, ask AFC Halifax Town fans what their Season Ticket costs) to watch what we didn't dare dream of. That said, first half Saturday wasn't acceptable by any standard.

Wagner won’t be here next season unless we stay up, and that goes for the likes of Billing,Mooy,Schindler,Kongolo and possibly Pritchard.
The players lack confidence and belief, the striker situation is a joke. 0goals from any of them and it’s Xmas day tomorrow. Our record since January 1st is a joke. Those 2 draws that kept us in the Premier League just papered over the cracks, we didn’t spend wisely in the summer and now it seems we are just settling for relegation, chairman, staff, management, players and what’s more the supporters. That used to be the mentality that Clibbens used to get slagged off for.
As for English Managers, Big Fat Sam is my number one choice but I fear sadly DH has left this too late for Town to be a attractive offer right now

Couldn't disagree more, Wakey. Apart from some sections of the support, confidence is good. We're still playing well. Just need to get some better luck. Like how many of our shots get deflected in? None of them. Everybody else gets them.
Wagz knows what's wrong. I trust him to get it right. Wouldn't trust Allardyce.

I personally think wagner will be at hoffenheim next season as their manager is leaving to join Leipzig and wagner still owns a house in that area which his wife calls home.
Staying on his wife, she fell out with him when he turned down the Wolfsburg job. She's wanted to get back home pretty much as soon as she got here, but I think thats due to their daughter being over there
