I completely agree with the comments made. As supporters, we clearly come absolutely bottom when considering the scheduling of matches and, in reality, we can do nothing about it. Sky and the EFL (or whatever name they go by now) don’t give a sh*t about the time and distance fans have to travel and so feel perfectly comfortable in scheduling matches at the most difficult and inconvenient times. Sky know it’s all about money and that the footballing authorities will ask “how high?” when Sky says “jump”.

Time to bring back the "Don't Subscribe" campaign!!!
If half the proper Season Ticket Holders in the 4 Leagues dumped their ugly aerials the Murdochs might take an interest. Persuading the nouveaux "Footy" fans might be more difficult, though. Angry
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

In recent weeks German football fans have been protesting against the DfB over their use of a Monday night match nearly every week. The Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga clubs held up signs about Monday night matches and the DfB and FC Nürnberg ultras even went as far as ignoring the first half of their Monday night match against Bayer Leverkusen 2 weeks ago and only came out in the second half. A big banner was put in its place.

The reaction to this? The DfB decided that starting next season the Bundesliga will have no Monday night matches and from the season after, the 2. Bundesliga won’t have anymore Monday night matches. Now I personally like the Monday night match for selfish reasons because I can watch it on BT Sport but the Germans are very traditional and they want to see football on Saturday afternoons and they are prepared to fight and protest to get as close to it as they can.

English clubs have to start taking action against the Football League and Sky for its current bullshit. A sign like the one below in English and aimed at Sky and the Football League would be a start.

(The below sign was from last summer’s protests).
