Changes to the FFP rules - good or bad for us??
#1
Below is a link to the FL site that outlines the new rules agreed last week by Championship clubs. This allows clubs to lose a lot more than they are currently doing and removes some of the need to convert losses into equity as well.

New FFP parameters

So after hearing MM and PA talk about the need for us to comply with the old rules and operate as a club within them, it now seems that we can spend a lot more than we have been doing without falling foul of them afterall. So my questions are:

1. Will MM now put more money into the playing side to push us on? Can he afford to anyway??
2. Does this help us or hinder us further given our "tightness"?
3. Will this make us more attractive for investment on the basis that a wealthy individual could now splash the cash more than the previous rules allowed to aim for promotion without the threat of sanctions?
4. Have we once again been left behind by complying with the requirements or was it a convenient excuse for MM to not put more money into the club?

Do feel you need to stick to answering just these questions, just give us your thoughts!!

3. Maybe
4. Convenient excuse
Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

It basically means that a number of over spenders won't now be punished but it sets the parameters until.......well until they change them again.

In the short term we probably lose out because MM is trying to make us cash neutral but in the long term, we could benefit more if we get a meg rich owner.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

The rules don't come in this season so teams like Forest will still get done (hopefully)

What this means for wednesday? Milan will now have to think of another reason not to spend any money
