Thanks folks, as I said really pleased for you all ..... our situation is our own doing ..... we fell into the premier league trap .... the don't lose, Don't get relegated at all costs mindset ..... the board believed in the TP reputation of never been relegated ...... that's true but he has laid the foundations for other clubs as well ....... rabbits in headlights ... the board failed to act until it was to late .....

Please please don't follow suit .... play your game, play to win ..... the top six can be beaten ... don't be scarred of them, if their forced to defend they can't go all out attack .... best of luck for next season .... your aim should be 10th - 12th .... slow steady progress .......

Will watch with interest ......... hope to rejoin you in twelve months .....

Cheeers 4eva, gutted for my Baggies mates but like you (more or less) and they have said, the Board acted in haste in appoining Pardew before the wiff of Pulis's after shave had left the building and didn't look closely enough at what was already there, right under their noses. Best of luck next year, with the right players coming in (gawd knows there's a few well paid lightweights that won't be hanging around for long this Summer) and the right manager you are more than a match for the big spenders that will be left in the Chumpionship.

I quite liked your boy in the England U-17 set-up too.

I know Huddersfield's proud history as a top club, but I remember during my boyhood the club permanently missing out on promotion to the top flight on a regular basis. I also remember your even greater travails as a lower league club with a budget to suit ..............

And now you're up and you stayed there. Now you have to do something with it. Good luck, exciting times. You're four relegations from anything really bad happening!
