Think We Should Stick
#1
obviously it`s up to the board to decide Pardew`s future
personally i would stick with him.
we are as good as down, so changing a manger now really would make no sense.
i can see him walking at the end of the season regardless

as for his replacement?
a lot of comments on here about certain managers we would like
i would like to see a manager that has experience of championship football because thats where we will be playing

as has been said on previous posts
maybe Gary Rowett?
and that Silva guy

No I would change
Why ? give the new man a head start to get us back up next year,
Asses the squad , kick out the dead wood, get to know the chairman tell him what he needs,as long as it's the right appointment this has to be the only way forward in a terrible season ..... Thumb up

I don't think a proper change will happen until the summer when a new Chairman is appointed.

If Pardew goes before then I'd expect a temporary appointment to the end of the season.

What Josh said

Realistically we're relegated, it's not mathematically confirmed but it's going to take a minimum of 2 points a game (on average) for us to even have a chance so unless we can bring in a manager who's going to guarantee us that minimum then temporary is the only option - and in all honesty it won't matter who until the end of the season.

Still think we should Sack Pardew though.

No point pretending otherwise - we are down.

It’s all about a new manger being appointed in readinenss for building a squad for next season.

No matter what happens between now and the end of the season I do not want Pardew in control. We need a fresh young manager with a desire to bring style back to the club.

The board can take all the time it needs, use the rest of the season to interview and make an appointment ready for the clear out and rebuild.

I hate to say it but we’re going down.
Stick with Pardew until the end of the season, see which players are staying / going and decide which way forward from there. Plans can be put in place between now and then.
I do feel a bit sorry for Pardew in a way. Amazing how many clubs get a lift from a change in leadership but not at the Albion. I think the players have forgotten how to win or have had it drilled out of them by the previous regime.
Football fans / supporters are very fickle. Had Carlos Carvahal been available after struggling at Sheffield Wednesday and was linked with the Baggies, there would’ve been howls of derision (myself included). Look what he’s done at Swansea. Is that all down to Carvahal or is it the players being able to adapt. Does that mean they were just not performing for Paul Clement?
It really grates on me that Huddersfield, Brighton, Bournemouth, Watford etc can all battle and raise their game to get results and performances yet it doesn’t or isn’t happening for our team. Competing with these teams should be a given, a minimum requirement but we just roll over for anyone.
Roll on May so we can rebuild, hopefully be challenging at the right end of the league through actually winning some games and put a smile back on the faces of the loyal support at the club. They deserve that.
