Yeah I picked up on that little bit of self centred 'me me me' comment as usual from Mr Numerals to give the impression he and the MP are somehow buddies and I find it astonishing to find that people on there cannot see his agenda .I know who he is and have heard him speak on radio and seen his texts. It smacks of a very big ego but cleverly disguised so as not to upset the general consensus ,using big flash words to impress the impressionable of which there are plenty on there .

Dev it was me who compared Mottley-Henry with Ahearne-Grant (god I hope I m not having to type in the double barrelled names all the time )
My complaint was the fact that Crawley were able to obtain someone of that experience and ability and we chose a pale comparison and that nothing to do with skin colour before any liberal snowflakes play the racist card .

Yeah Pooch I know YOU compared Mottley-Henry and Ahearne-Grant and I thought that was fair enough, because MH obviously didn't have much of a game, A-G clearly was very good ........ and when you look at the background of the players you can see why. A-G is over-ready for first team football, M-H is getting his foot on the first rung of the ladder. It showed the very different recruitment approaches between the two clubs .......... so I thought your comment made real sense. It didn't just destroy M-H ....... it put him in context. And he is a very young inexperienced player, maybe he can give more and be a success with us, maybe he can't. If he plays crap he can't moan that people say he was rubbish, but it is pretty impossible to say after one game he has no future.

Bob's Board just destroyed him. As Matt says they hardly wait for a player to have a game before they have a go at him, or in JBW's case they raised massive, impossible expectations of the guy before he stepped onto the field for us in a proper game. Kyle Walker and Danny Rose were in a panic whether they could keep him out of the England side! And then when he didn't eat the opposition he became prick of the week .....

All I'd say for three at the back is these three are about fifty times more likely to succeed with it than anything we've had, because we've three centre backs, quick enough and one has experience at right back and the other is happy at left back. And we do have potential wing backs too. But it could be a disaster. I don't go any further than a suggestion.

And yes I too wonder why Jack hasn't tried a simple 4-4-2, but I'm not sure how Dennis fires up alongside any partner ..... which had me wondering whether selling him might have had unexpectedly positive results. I also wondered about the four in midfield - two wide men? Play more of a diamond? Keep playing Rowley out wide? Bring him inside and drop McCourt? Where's Weir figure in this? Drop Rowley? Bring in experience around Reed, Like Weir, Coke and McCourt?

Can't say I'd really picked up much on Roman Numeral's prickishness. He writes well, so probably the snob in me deadened my critical faculties .......... At least he fleshes out arguments, there are others on there who come up with two lines of obllocks and conclude they've solved Fermat's Last Theorem despite having missed the point entirely.

He's probably a teacher and drives a BMW. That would explain it.
Apologies if you teach or own a BMW but they are 2 of my pet hates with Audi drivers running a close third.

Back 4 looks pretty solid atm Dev. Kellet, Weir, Reed and Coke if fit would give a solid midfield and bench McCourt and Rowley bringing them on for the last 15 or so to run at tired defenders. Am sure we can find a partner for Dennis if he has to play. It just needs working on in training.

I'm pretty certain he ain't a teacher and I wouldn't think he drives a BMW .If you saw him you would think he was leader of the CBS,looks like a typical ex hooligan in his 50's which totally belies the impression he gives when he types and speaks on the radio. and that's my point ,its all false .

I'd have he was thought too intelligent for a teacher ........... No I never was, people said I should've been, I took that as an insult!

BMW. No. We do have the owner of a BMW dealership in the wilds of Northern Ireland in the family if you can come to terms with your car prejudice ......

Someone once described me as a typical Citroen driver. But I don't.

Trouble with picking our most solid midfield is there are almost no goals in it. Rowley seems as likely as anyone other than Dennis to score for us, McCourt is another possible scorer. Can we afford them on the bench. Hines definitely has goals and assists in him BUT it sounds as though they are now buried deep. Ugwu can score, but he didn't last long against Notts County reserves - and having watched their first team against Swansea I can barely envisage an eleven not good enough to make that squad.

My first step to more goals would be to put Maguire up for EVERY corner. He used to score and cause loads of trouble for the juniors with his enthusiasm, Nelson is another with the right attitude to get him goals in the other box. It might be a crude tactic and Morecambe will probably field Nizic a big Aussie keeper who might catch a few ............ but it's better than ending up with 53% possession, 3 shots and a determination to pass the ball into the goal.

Against Morecambe we need to go for a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3, having one upfront against them isn't going to work. Tomorrow is a must win game so they may as well go for it with an all out attack.

Which just goes to prove what I used to tell students applying to university worrying about writing a Personal Statement.

Forget most of what you've been told. IF YOU CAN SPEAK YOU CAN WRITE.

To be fair though online is no more false than face to face. You could be an illiterate child-molesting, wife beating thug and look and dress like George Clooney. On the other hand you might look like Harvey Weinstein.
