Foxes v Terriers 01-01-2018

1st half we'd done ok, kept them at bay barely threatened cos we ran into deadends or the likes of Lowe came back and stopped at the halfway line. No crosses or delivery to trouble Leicester, but you can take that performance at 45 mins, hoping for an improvement 2nd.
Sadly we didnt see any improvement, Mahrez goal was quality, the 2nd lost possesion and an easy ball to their 2nd string £30m Slimey , Albrighton rounding off a 90+2 after we stopped tackling, challenging or competing basically by then.

3 points from 12 over Crimbo not looking great and another dent in the goal difference stats to keep more than a keen eye on.

Mounie no service all afternoon nor do I think he put himself about at Larry DP does which every one of the 2000 travellers recognised today. Lolley just way out of his depth subbedd for Col too late - I can understand with so many games in 11 days the changes but we were woeful. Leicester had changes and Vardy injured, Morgan limped off but we failed to get anywhere near Schmeical all afternoon they wont have an easier game all season

Hard walking out listening to the locals having us as certs for relegation when I know we do have a perfomance, fight and battle in us but it just doesnt come out enough.

Waggers will write this off, blame the fixture congestion but as fans we do expect a minimum of effort and really Schindy stood out only today and we dont have the quality for 7-8 to have an average game like we got this afty.

Id just like to say I thought Monié did alright first half. Chased the ball about and won his fair share of headers. 2nd half we never really got the ball forward so can't blame him for much there

Looks like Lowe will be out for a fortnight. Took a knock on the foot he injured at Watford. Going for a scan.
The Kongolo boy to slip in at left back then?

Seen the highlights tonight. Maguire red card all day, no question. Williams's miss shortly after was a shocker. Their first two goals were superb finishing, the likes of which we need to produce. The third goal was offside.

So Maguire off, playing against ten men, a better finish from Williams, go in one up at half time, still lose 2-1 against ten men, that would've been more frustrating. Rolleyes
