If he played for Brighton he didn't really look like England material today did he? There can't be a Brighton fan reading this that thinks their lot were at the races today. We were hardly Brazil but we were the only side that was going to win today.

Lots of outstanding performances today. Great to see Kachunga and Smith linking up again like they did last season. That partnership hasn't flourished much so far this time.
Schindler brilliant again.....obviously. Zanka as well I thought. Mooy and Hogg controlled midfield. Big Col superb. Loewe superb. Lossl didn't have much to do but did it well. Ince best game for a while. Please get a goal soon.
Anyone else? Oh yes. Steve Mounie. Two goals. What more can you ask? One in off his knob and one straight through the keeper. But that's what we've been missing. The luck.

Great result that, could be massive especially with Newcastle having a big slide too. Thought we looked stronger in the second half, shame Ince couldn’t bang one in. Fingers crossed for Tuesday.
Anyone got any experience using the terrier exchange? Am down in the mother land at crimbo, missed the window for Stoke tickets and wondering what chances I’ve got of picking a couple up. Got Burnley tickets though so will get to at least one game.

We all took a sharp intake of breath reading the line up whilst still having a pre match scoop, Big Col starting are you sure? an out of sorts Kachunga retaining his place ? no Beast up front and the engine room driver Williams on the bench ...what is DW thinking of.
Happily we roared from the start, never gave Albion a foothold and denied them space to become confident, scored at the right times and got Mooy on the ball with Hoggy mopping up superbly. Strong at the back and Lossl good hands and kicks when called upon.
Another Schindy flick on and a keeper error gave us breathing space to play like we saw for much of last season playing fluently downhill towards the Three Nuns 2nd half. There has got to be a sneaky January bid from somewhere for this man to test the water.
Brief chat with a load of Brighton on the train to Wakey and they were really disappointed, they had earmarked this as 3 points or 1 like us, certainly a game not to loose and very complimentary about our game last season, today and the welcome around the town pubs they received.
MotD commentator got it spot on, we were totally unrecognisable from last week ( both away games)
What a difference when Smith gets forward, Ince just sooooo needs a goal and i'm sure he;s got another 10-20% within him to give once he relaxes, Mounie showed as a fox in the box striker why we just have to attack more, create more and sometimes just stick it in and see what occurs. We tick when we have width and support out wide, on the road we barely tock.
A real team effort and fully deserved on the day - superb from the stands (as usual) and its fantastic to see the squad celebrations after a tough month.
Tuesday V Chelski, a free hit in many ways, the key is now (for me) to convert that energy into becoming difficult or stubborn on the road and lets see what we can grind out at Watford, Saints and Lestorrrr to add to our home form and style.
