I don't think Cook would take him. Portsmouth might if promotion doesn't materialise ...........
O'Shea really hasn't that much of a record. Outside us he had loan periods where he couldn't get a game, a reasonable spell at MKD where he got a few goals in 40-odd games and he's got age-group caps for the Republic of Ireland. So the reason we're not getting anything for him is HE'S NOT WORTH ANYTHING on the market. He's known to be inconsistent. He's got a few months left on his contract, at which point any suitor could get him free anyway ....... why would anyone pay unless something had convinced them they could get the best out of him every week? WE NEEDED TO GET RID OF SOMEONE - and Caldwell clearly doesn't fancy him as the mainspring of his team - TO BRING SOME UNNAMED SOMEONE/S IN, because we have no money.
