talkSAFT, it was Arthur Road (just off Grove Lane.. just before Handsworth Grammar School) & then Rookery Road. My parents owned the Old Post Office on Rookery Road.

You will remember the Grove Pub then. Great Indian BBQ food in there now.. & the beer is not bad Either.
