It's being widely reported that Paul Murray has revealed the club hopes to appoint its new manager in the coming week (with an official announcement expected at Friday's GM). Hopefully this will turn out to be the case as we badly need someone in place ASAP, but let's make sure its the right person.
Who do y'all think it's going to end up being?

I'd be happy with either (Warburton or Pereira), from what I can ascertain.
I've previously been of the opinion that people like McInnes or Davies would do well, but I don't think either would be ideal.
Not only do we need a manager that can cope with managing a club of our voluminous stature, we need a manager that can build a squad to play attractive, winning football, a squad that will take us not only to the Premiership but actually win it when the time comes. To do that we meed a manger with contacts. I suspect Pereira might have those contacts, albeit he won't be able to utilise them fully thanks to the ridiculous impositions we put upon our own clubs in respect of work permits for non-EU players. I.e., the vast resource of quality from the Brazilian quarter.
King has flown in today it appears, it looks like an announcement is imminent. With the pointless and already over-hyped GM due on Friday, I'm looking forward to hearing confirmation of necessary appointments and strategies for the future development of our club.
I notice the poll results have McCall as leader of the vote. I suspect those particular respondents are voting for McCoist in absentia.

Stuart McCall is not the man for Rangers because he was "one of the boys" during his playing days at Ibrox and it has been shown that the poison chalice of managing the team has been passed around without any of the recipients achieving any great success at the club.
Rangers need somebody who will start with a clean sheet and build a team to challenge for the SPFL.

Mr King does not seem to agree with Mr Murray. According to Davie, no announcement on manager until next week. He actually seemed unsure how many candidates there actually were in his press conference, about 5 !!!!!!!!
