Great to see Palace's win on Satday.
Up until a year or 2 ago I'd never have wanted a cockney team to win any match against more Northern teams. But now, I'd probably support even a French team against the Moneybags Clubs!
That's not saying Palace wouldn't
buy their way to the Top.....or even Albion, for that matter!........ I'll wait and see on that big scenario!!!
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

I was busy with the cricket so didn't bother watching, but was glad to hear they won. Still remember their 1990 run to Wembley and taking Man Utd all the way to a replay.

I remember those days in the distant past when FA Cup Final Day was really something, no matter who was playing.
I suppose it was much more that way when I was at school, but years after it still was a near magical day and you would NEVER miss watching it live.
Since then it's been devalued by clubs favouring the league, resting players, etc and I haven't watched a live final - or even a replay come to that - for years.
A real shame.

Didn’t watch it but maybe the time has come for most teams to stop trying to emulate the way City play just leads to boring football

Glad someone other than the FA’s gentlemen’s club members have won the oldest cup but it does not mean the playing field is levelling out.
Next season will be back to the status quo, the FA will bring some new rule or other in to help the struggling clubs like Liverpool, arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, etc. They will be allowed to play with twelve players or use twenty five substitutes, maybe they can be given a two goal head start or if they score first the game automatically ends, even after just two minutes. If their losing the tie, they will play extra time until their winning, then the game will end.
Sounds far fetched, I know. But how many other rule changes have been made at the request of and to the benefit of the big boys. No replays, extra substitutes, allow weakened teams to be fielded etc etc.
having nine internationals on the bench doesn’t benefit Walsall, Burton Albion, Shrewsbury or even us for that matter.
Through very gritted teeth, Well done Crystal Palace, dislike palace, Simon Jordan and all.
