There's a TV film just started ("Bless 'em All"), and it took me back nearly 60 years! Laugh

We used to sing it (in the Brummie Road) when Everton came to play. To the tune of "Bless 'em All, The Long and the Short and the Tall":-

F*** 'em all
F*** 'em all
Especially Alan Ball
We'll never be mastered
By that little B*****d
So sing up you lads
F*** 'em all!!!

Big Grin

No doubt we copied it off Liverpool........ Any other comical football songs from the past to chuckle to???

Not a song but a chant. The first time I ever went to a game at Abroath’s ground, Gayfield, (25 years ago) I heard that fabulous chant from the Partick fans:”You only sing when you’re fishing”. I’m sure all visiting fans sing it at fishing port grounds but it was so funny the first time I heard it

I enjoyed the one we sang at the Manor Ground in Oxford about 25 years ago, to the tune of When the saints go marching in -
My garden shed is bigger than this
my garden shed is bigger than this
it's got a door and a window
my garden shed is bigger than this

But it was a poor game and we lost, so ti fell a bit flat.

I think there might have been two other verses, one being

"My boxer shorts are bigger than this
My boxer shorts are bigger than this
they've got a hole and a skid mark
my boxer shorts are bigger than this "

Then another with 'my budgies cage, which has a perch and a mirror'.
