On that note I wish all baggies and everyone on here especially, a happy and prosperous new year and a very success 2024!

Thanks 4EB sadly had to leave car at my folks and take a train. It’s a Mercedes infra red ignition issue between the key the ESL and EIS. I literally replaced the ESL last month (£908) and the key earlier this year (£265) when you put the key in the ignition it connects but if any of those three things go belly up you can’t turn the key and hence you have a 2 ton paper weight on the drive![]()
ELS (electronic steering lock) EIS (electronic ignition system) = HEPITA (huge expensive pain in the ass) :/
Hi val,
We have had exactly the same problem, with our Nissan Juke. RAC could not fix it. But towed us to our garage. It was a fuse blown. Took a while to find, but check your fuses if you haven’t already as thought the bill was gonna be a lot worse for us.
Went to the Leeds game on Friday, and the defence was immense in the last ten minutes what a performance.
Happy new year one and all. Hoping for good news!
