I like to think that Carlos is embracing the financial constraints, and seeing it as a challenge. If we have any of the Academy boys - sorry, persons - left, he'll accept the situation and build a Championship winning team out of absolutely nothing, and all us old codgers will think he's the best thing since..... well, since Steve Bruce.
THEN Trump will get re-elected, fly across to Moscow and convince Putin that love and peace is the answer.
Russia will then instantly pull out of Ukraine and pay 900 billion thingies compensation to Ukraine.
"NURSE?!!"

If you have low expectations you can be pleasantly surprised.
This could be a bumper season for me

Have to say that the pre-season games haven't done anything to alleviate gloom. Not that I've seen anything except the few 'highlights' on the OS, but poor results.

Stairs, BV,
dad to say but I think my expectations are about the same level as yours. Normally this time of year full of high hopes, victories over Port Vale and Shrewsbury, started the resurrection of the good ship hope but the results in the games after appeared like an iceberg to sink that ship.
New striker could improve our chances but we were light in quality last year and have not addressed that issue, in fact more players have left.
This could be a roller coaster of a season, hold tight.
Come on you baggies!

Well CC has had a summer. It’s a first full season. He is reputed to be an excellent coach.
Time will tell. Fingers crossed.
