To add to all the doom and gloom that you have mentioned, I'm concerned that CC is not the Manager we are bigging up.

Why, because with a few matches to go and in a good position to be in the play-offs, what happened, we lost 3 of the last 4 matches.  Now does that sounf like a Manager who can motivate his team of slackers, no it doesn't.

So for that reason i reckon next year we'll be average top 10.

Of course like all of you, I wish for promotion to get the dosh and come down again where we belong - without a good owner.

Have a good summer all.

Jeez, guys; after the abomination of Bruce and at the end of CC’s first match against future promoted Sheffield United, we were 17 games in and 24th, bottom. With the same group of players, he gets us into a top six play off position but we can’t sustain that level of a run. We have an horrendous run of injuries at critical moments, combined with some basic individual errors on the pitch. The outcome is that we finish 9th - 3 points outside the playoffs and 15 places better off from when he was appointed, despite him missing over a third of the season.

Yes, it was a disappointing finish from the heady heights of December/January but I think the guy did a remarkable job considering the sh*tshow he inherited and the ongoing drama with the owner that never went away for the whole of the season.

If he goes to Leeds - and I wouldn’t blame him - I’m intrigued to know whom you think we should recruit to get us promoted next year. I hope to goodness he stays because, if he does go, I think we’re screwed.

CC has got create his own transfer kitty, so Dara is sold and Kipre and Taylor come in.
Grady and Grant go loan or sold and we get a proven striker on a short contract Pukki, Sharp type will do. Introduce more youth we have several to choose from.
If we have to sell Molumby or Okay (they're the only ones who may be worth anything) bring Mowatt back into the fold.
Financial survival will be the priority I'm afraid.

True we did have but we are selling them as well, looking like Jamaldeen Jimoh off to 'Vile', but for £1 million plus sell on clause.

We have little choice we have to find £5 million a year to pay off the new loan. Reality is more sales will have to happen. Crap but that's where we are.

If CC is staying, having been given a fresh start and having sorted the workers from the no workers,  he will with new faces, shrewd free transfers, get them all to play as he wants and surprise us all.

Come on the Baggies.

As for the owner he obviously hasn't the scruples that the Chinese were once renowned for, and needs a visit!!

Maybe a bit of GOOD news for a change?

"Leeds want Premier League experience, ruling Carlos Corberan out
Indeed, it is now believed that Leeds want a manager with Premier League experience. Farke and Parker have it. Corberan, not yet. The Mail say Leeds also want Patrick Vieira. He may have replaced Corberan in the reckoning"

It would seem with Grant and Maluby being sold for maybe 13M and Griffith now wanted, we can get a bit of cash back into the club, though I worry a little if we sell our better players, can we get like for like players back in to give us a reasonable team. Any thoughts?

If the owners  take a chunk of any incoming transfer funds we are done for.
