Anybody who opens a manifesto with the words, "Football is on a journey." is probably exactly what Alexei Sayle thought of those who insist on using the word workshop and are not involved in light engineering.
Forty eight experts and none of them looks as though they ever kicked a ball or ever could.
It looks to me as though they have expended a lot of space and energy demonstrating their own academic credentials whilst advocating the "bleedin' obvious!"
I know I'm a terrible person, and that they clearly mean well, but if the Premier League was even vaguely prepared to be regulated and if it had any deep intention of showering money on EFL clubs it has had the power and resources to impose that on itself for years. No Government is ever going to have any incentive to impose laws that empower a regulator and enforce that regulator's decisions unless there is some massive public outcry, and that is vanishingly unlikely, because those who give a damn are more interested in simply seeing their team win.
