so far today we have had nothing to actually commentate on
a lot of the events have been more or less cancelled
owing to a rather severe overnight storm:
roads around the stadium are virtually impassable
the athletics track is under 2 feet of water
we have reports that lightning strikes have caused the indoor pool to be shut
the velodrome has also been struck by lightning
but we do have some good news:
the officials have changed the Snakes & Ladders board
and the monopoly has been declared a draw
the storm has eased and hopefully we will able to bring you the quarter finals of the underwater tennis
the under water volleyball and fingers crossed the final of the Pin The Tail On Donkey
