Oggy has reiterated that Adkins has been offered the job. Why the delay? Well he left Hull City in the summer at the end of his contract because the club and he had differing views as to how to move the club forward. Maybe he just wasn't impressed with the new chairman or the new director of football.
Meanwhile, Wendies have appointed Gary Spunk, leaving Cowley free to join us. He said that the two clubs had already agreed compensation. That therefore means that Lincoln are prepared to let him go. When a manager gets that message, he knows sooner rather than later he will be gone.
I reckon another approach in that direction could be forthcoming.

Knowing Town we're more likely to offer the job to Colin Cowdrey than Danny Cowley. Before you say it, I know that too.

We've had plenty before that are supposed to be still alive that were dead from the neck up when it came to being a manager or head coach.

Then again,
if (the now not so)
young Nigel makes us happy,
we could be happy,
in this world.
Or even this division.

You just never know do you?

Oh Danny Boy, The Town, The Town are calling.
So wtf are you waiting for?

I picked you before we played Lincoln. Get your finger out and take on a mans challenge rather than aiming low all the time. You and your bro prefer Lincolnshire sausages to Wensleydale cheese and Yorkshire Terrier ale or what?

All we are saying, is give it a go. Smile

I said on the way out after the Lincoln match that he should offer him the job there and then.
Maybe he did.

Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

My phone has just gone potty!

Have to say I like this news. Didn't want a merry go round manager.
