So the Scottish Cup final comes "early" for Celtic because the "odds on favourite" for this trophy is on this side of the draw with Celtic in "pole position" with players like Rogic, McGregor and Christie all gradually returning at the right time and competing for places. I think Rangers would be the preferred choice as their defence is definitely "there for the taking" and Rangers are collectively not as good as many people seem to think they are. As for the Dons? They are normally defensively resolute but are still susceptible to lapses of concentration that reflect on their current lower position in the Premiership although still reasonably healthy if one considers injuries and loss of players. I think this cup tie will define Celtic's push for the "triple treble" and an end of season party at Hampden Park.

Hertz will fluke their way to the final, and then get annihilated by celtic.
Nothing surer.

I notice that, as I predicted in October, Naismith out injured for months again (injury prone is one of the main reasons why many English footie clubs didn't go near him!) and Berra relying heavily on his experience but definitely a different player and slower since that return from injury and will be injured again if he commits to playing with conviction - will be destroyed by pacy, one-touch/two-touch footie!

Don't wish injury on anyone but Naismith is a nasty piece of work.

And it comes to pass that the Dons play the Hoops at Hampden Park in the Scottish Cup semi-final after a deserved 0-2 win over Rangers at Ibronx last night. I notice that their midfield "engine", Graeme Shinnie, will miss this match and that is a huge "bonus" for Lenny and the Hoops to push on to the "triple treble". I can't see anything other than a win esp with players like Christie, McGregor and Rogic returning soon. McGregor's absence is particularly "missed" because of his dynamism and creativity in the midfield area as Broony can't provide that skill. But Christie and Rogic will also add another "dynamic" to this team as the season draws to a close.
