Come on then, Matt. You must have 3 individuals in mind for the title roles. `Fess up; who are they?

Not sure who would play the Good but I guess there are many candidates for the bad and the ugly.

I bet the Sheffield Wednesday forums a riot. They must miss you Imre.

Back on track
The Good - Whoever is leading the prediction league atm - Seems obvious
The Bad - Who else but Gary Caldwell. I cant think of anybody worse than him.
The Ugly - Ashley Carson (Just too eager to get his hands on the Gold). Can see his face now on a WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE poster

Only tuna fish could hate Chansiri more than Dave Allen.

When temporarily leading the prediction league represents The Good we're in trouble.
Can't argue on the bad. He'd look evil in a black hat.
But the one thing Ashley Carson isn't is ugly. He'd need a lot of slap to look like Peter Beardsley or Myra Hindley .............

Nothing temporary about it Dev, you have to repeat it week after week to be good. Try it sometime.

Am sure AC has had many a slap with a wet Plaice. He's a male Gold Digga in the perfect job to side a few ounces. He's DA's do boy and I have a vision in my head that I daren't put in words on here or else the boys will come knocking. It involves Pidgeons and I can promise you AC looks ugly - real ugly.

Good job you weren't doing the casting for the film. You need an Eli Wallach or an Ernest Borgnine or a Ron Perlman. Being ugly inside isn't enough. You need some physical ugliness and AC gets where he is, because he LOOKS presentable and honest. Myra Hindley wasn't an ugly woman, they had to make her look ugly in pictures to match her crimes. Picture serial killer - you don't want to see a dishy bloke or a gorgeous woman now do you?

I think I won the Predication League once ..... didn't I? But I'm even worse on the future than the past. I imagine I probably know more about the individual managers, clubs and players in this league than anybody involved if it were a quiz ....... but I'm nowhere near as good as you at predicting stuff that is going to happen, both with results and Chesterfield's slow demise. Probably that's why you run your own company, you can sort out what matters from what's irrelevant. My decisions are always full of irrelevancies and could only very tangentially be described as rational.

I also mess about too much, but I've noticed when I mess about I don't do noticeably worse than when I try really hard. Last few weeks I've been genuinely trying to overtake Amelia. I finally managed that, but that was probably as much to do with her temporarily struggling as me getting things right.

My prediction is St Charles Owl will win the Predication League ........ now that should kybosh your only serious rival!

In America even in college football they really go for it and have cheerleaders, marching bands and mascots and stadiums which look like they should be in the Championship or Premier League.

Maybe St Charles can answer this. Do the colleges own the stadiums? and is it only students who play for these teams?

Yes most of the colleges own their own stadiums. College Football (the US version) is huge over here, the stadiums are massive, Michigan’s stadium holds 110,000 ad there are many more with 60k+ capacities. Every player is a college student as well, they can play football for 5 years maximum at college level though they can only actually play for 4 of those years. The best players will then go into the NFL via the NFL draft, where the NFL teams take turns to pick the best players depending on their needs. College revenues are also huge, the University of Texas’ football team had revenues of $215m (165m pounds) in 2017 and there are over 30 colleges with revenues over 100m from their football teams alone. In most states the college football teams are often bigger than the NFL teams.

Wow

College football teams are often bigger than NFL teams? How does that work? In attendances and fans? or revenue?

And to add to Matt's question - how the hell do you stay alive in Chicago at -26 or whatever? Can we send gloves?
