There's been a programme on the telly recently with this title. I haven't bothered watching, so wonder if anyone else has, and what it was about.
I cringe when "Psalm 23" gets sung by our fans. It just sounds like "Oh, we've GOT to have an anthem. Let's sing this shite".......... and it's kept going!
"Keep Right On" and "YNWA" are stirring songs with fitting words for football, but ours is just embarrassing, and I wish we'd stop it now, personally.
Stoke's "Delilah" is nearly as bad.
Was "Psalm 23" mentioned as bollux in the programme?
Anyone disagree? Any other favourites from other Clubs?
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

I went to a funeral this week, my cousin. She had a Humanist wedding and only music was played. It made me think about my funeral, hopefully decades away, and what I would have done.
For one, I am not religious but I do like a really good sing along and so I have just literally this week written down that I want my best mate to tell one of my favourite jokes and for the following to be belted out with no energy spared:
- Psalm23 - The Lords my Shepherd (Preceded with explanation that it's my football club chant and made feel feel proud)
- All things bright and beautiful - (Because everyone know it)
- Jerusalem (Same, when at Twickenham, it makes me feel fantastic)
I am then to be cremated and put in a huge firework rocket and blasted into orbit. No silly place for people to pilgrimage to or feel obliged to maintain.

At least you're not singing Rocket Man before lift-off.

Love the Psalm 23 as THE Albion song. I'm sure I first heard it at The Hawthorns in the late 70s, around Christmas time. Assumed they were singing Christmas carols... And it still sends a shiver down my spin, had it for my dad's funeral too....

Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.
