Town 2 Swindon, Ref and Linesmen 8

Fancifull scoreline but so easily could have been. We started well and should have scored a couple in the first 20 mins. Sweet passing movement and the omens looked good with Goben slotting in well and looking quite usefull.
Then up steps the most inept ref I have ever seen to gift Swindon 2 goals completely against the run of play and the rest is history.
No idea what Lee was doing for the second - he actually moved out of the way of the ball then just flapped at it!!
Evatt and Pizza man are just too slow and god how we miss Cooper and Hird. Doyle really does need to beef up and when he is man marked he is a passenger.
Didn't think we played that bad overall but once Swindon got the advantage they move up a gear and we went into reverse. Fortunately for us Tendayi had a good game for once and made a couple of last ditch tackles and good runs up the wing. Gardner looked lively but tired and was guilty of giving the ball away when we were in dangerous positions putting us under unnecessary pressure.
Wont say too much about the ref other than what a joke. Fell for every dive, gave them every 50-50 plus at least half a dozen that should have gone our way, ignored blatant shirt pulling and handballs even when right in front of him, let them get away with time wasting from the off and was generally just a total xxxx numpty.
Swindon No 3 was a league above anybody else on the pitch and gave Jones and Pizza man a torrid time. Every time he got the ball he looked dangerous and they looked like scoring.
Hope we get back to winning ways on Saturday or else the "told you so" brigade will be out in force.
For me no need to panic yet but last night cried out for a big striker that could give as good as he gets and has a bit of height to get on the end of the endless crosses we created that went to waste. Any ideas anybody?

Won't be surprised if Mansfield sign him to piss the fans off.

I think this was one of those games when you have to hold your hands up and admit we were beaten by the better team which to be fair we havent said very often under PCs tenure .
Tendayi was indeed our best player on a night when virtually everyone was slightly under par.
To say we need a win on Saturday is probably an understatement
