The EFL have proposed a motion whereby clubs will not need to sell programmes on match day mainly due to the fact that they are a loss leader for clubs.
Personal view it will be a sad day if clubs stop producing programmes.
Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

Are you saying that there is an EFL rule that clubs have to sell programmes?? Like you I would be sad to see them disappear but maybe the answer is to allow supporters to subscribe and be sent one or pick it up rather than the club having to produce so many that may or may not sell outside the ground.

Make them cheaper. Cut out the crap. Just essential information. Something you can read before kick off.
Programmes today are like a full on magazine. You can't just slip it in your back pocket. There are too many adverts and stuff for commercial sponsors.
Should be A5 size, 16pp.
