As for a new Manager, and players, look at the lower leagues to find them. As for our players, the incentive of winning seems not to be there enough under any manager - they need a serious sifting, and retain younger players WANTING to win or not being chosen to play.

Matt Smith’s article about Alan Pardew’s very bad time at the club:

From Alan Pardew’s trying to be the opposite of Tony Pulis rather than working to the players strengths to his treatment of Sam Field and Oliver Burke, the above makes for difficult reading and I’m surprised it’s taken this long to sack him.

Unsurprisingly the knives are out for Pardew.

Even Ian Wright (that well respected ex WBA fan) has an opinion!!

I certainly agree that Pardew should never manage in the Premier league again but Champioship?

I recently read an article listing the supposed worst ever 20 Premiership teams. We featured twice and they projected a 24 point haul for us by season's end. Fortunately Derby County correctly claim No1 spot with just 11 points.
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

It came six months to late ........ should have retired before we hired.

Never mind he can not do anymore damage to another club ........
