Even in these sad times Collymore couldn't bring himself to say West Brom,
Yeh he hasn't said anything against Cyrille but just read this below,
No mention of West Brom, Just Cyrille played for Coventry, Aston Villa
AS WELL AS Albion.
As a Black player he should have known where his Legacy was made as a trailblazer for all Black footballers, yet he still makes it a agenda against us,
When he passes away this is another reason I won't be shedding a tear for a Obnoxious, Wife beating, Dogger who thinks he is better than everybody else

think the aforementioned mr cauliflower should actually sit down for a minute and think about what
Cyrille did for not only many coloured players but for him as well
first and foremost Cyrille was West Brom and back in the day West Brom was Cyrille
he may have played for Wolves and the villa
but to me he WAS West Brom through and through
Mr Stanley Collytwat should realise this
a lot of tears have been shed over the loss of Cyrille
wonder how many will be shed when he goes
R.I.P Cyrille

Just found this interview from Brendon on WM
Former @WBA team mate Brendon Batson pays a very moving tribute to his close friend Cyrille Regis, who has died at the age of 59. Brendon was talking to @iandwinter

ALBION can confirm that The Hawthorns will stage a service to celebrate the life of Cyrille Regis immediately after his funeral later this month.
Cyrille’s funeral will go ahead on Tuesday, January 30 in a private family service.
This will be followed by the opportunity for Cyrille’s wider circle of admirers, from football and beyond, to join the family at the stadium he always considered home for a celebration of his life and career.

Great to see that the PL have relented and a minute's applause will happen prior to all PL games this weekend.
A fitting tribute to a remarkable man, and it's quite right that his contribution to equality in football should be recognised and applauded by all.
I think, though, that all us Baggies - well, all of us who are of a certain age at least - have always appreciated this. Cyrille was an inspiration to us all, regardless of colour. In the face of terrible hostility, which is hard to imagine was prevalent only 40 years ago, he played with a smile on his face. And what a smile! He lit up the whole place with his presence - he was an absolute one-off, and we are SO lucky that he joined our great club, and was then always 'one of us'.
Hundreds of thousands of people will today applaud him and his memory, and rightly so, but we are blessed - our applause will mean so much more, because he was, is, and always will be, one of us.
Thank you, big man
