Leeann comfortable with keeping John McGinn just now!

Recent comments to the EEN suggest that our CE has no intention of transferring John McGinn during this Jan transfer 'window' and happy that Hibs are 'in a good place' financially and footie wise. However, there is always the possibility of a tempting offer that could be received and would be difficult to reject. Hopefully that scenario will not arise.

Most of us are well aware that any of our players can go if we get an acceptable offer but it`s nice to see Leeann being happy to leave things as they are with John McGinn. There is no doubt that he will move on at some point, and more time under Lennys wing will improve him as a player and add to his transfer value. Until then we can look forward to seeing him playing well in a Hibs jersey

I think it's more likely to be the Summer that McGinn moves on. I can't imagine NL wanting to lose such an important player during the current window with the Cup game coming up at Tynie and NL wanting to finish the season as high as possible. Especially finishing above Hertz..lolz.

Broony's understudy? Maybe Broony will return to ER when the time is right?

Aye! If we had the choice we would opt for the 'goal machine', the scorer of 'goals for fun' v Hearts as well and of course a passionate hibee! The choice of Broony would be different in the fact he was our potential captain and leader for years to come but we sold him on, his choice of course. He could still possibly provide that leadership and organisation at ER but IMO it would be a short-term arrangement unless he is attracted to a coaching career.

We have to be realistic, the boys a good player and if the right kind of money comes in leeanne will punt.

Hibs tend to do good business in the transfer market these days.
